Möhlenhoff expands its product range for single room temperature control
Modern control technology with an LED display for panel heating and cooling systems. With the OEM Alpha Room thermostat direct LED, Möhlenhoff is expanding its portfolio to include a new generation of room thermostats that combine a modern user interface with flexible control technology. Designed for OEM applications, the new solution supports on-demand single room temperature control and can be integrated into a variety of system configurations.
LED display and intuitive touch controls
The new room thermostat is a further development of the tried-and-tested OEM Alpha Room thermostat direct Display. It detects and regulates the desired room temperature within a range of 5 to 30 degrees Celsius. A language-neutral LED segment display presents all relevant information clearly and concisely. The touch control panel allows for intuitive navigation through menus and settings. The voltage supply is provided either at 24 or 230 volts via a connection unit from the OEM Alpha direct series or via a separate voltage source.

Flexible control algorithm for a variety of applications
Depending on the requirements, a choice can be made between two-point control and pulse width modulation (PWM), which allows the control behaviour to be optimally adapted to different water-based heating and cooling systems.
The flexible control strategy helps OEMs tailor their products to different applications and market requirements. This means that the thermostat can be used flexibly in both new-build projects and when modernising existing systems.
Three options for tailor-made product concepts
The product range comprises the Standard, Comfort and Control variants. This provides a tiered range of functions that can be specifically tailored to different areas of application. OEM partners benefit from a shared technical platform and can tailor their product ranges to meet specific needs. Depending on the model, the range of functions includes, amongst other things, a display of the switching output, a setpoint limiter, a switchable NC/NO mode and an adjustable setback temperature. In addition to the standard version, the Comfort variant offers a heating/cooling function (change over). The Control version builds on the range of functions offered by the Comfort version and adds further features such as an internal weekly time switch, Smart Start / Stop and a timer output.
